Using CdsLynk together with ModLyng enables you to:
- Start ModLyng from the Cadence library editor
- Read the Cadence library organization into ModLyng
- Work directly within the Cadence libraries when managing models in ModLyng
- Save your models as ModLyng cell views
- Load a model into ModLyng from a ModLyng cell view
- Export your models from ModLyng directly to Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS or VHDL-AMS cell views
- Export a symbol to a Cadence symbol
- Import a model into ModLyng from a Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS or VHDL-AMS cell view
- Check consistency of ports and parameters of a Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS or VHDL-AMS cell view with the corresponding model in ModLyng
Re-use Models in IC5141/610
Existing HDL models may also be imported with the CdsLynk-enabled ModLyng environment.
- ModLyng is connected to Cadence via CdsLynk
- The model is copied into the Cadence library
- Once there, the model can be exported from ModLyng into the Cadence HDL cellviews
- To save time, Cadence Symbol can be automatically generated as well
Exporting HDL Cellviews
ModLyng with CDSLynk is cell-view "aware". HDL models are automatically exported to the appropriate cell view.

Re-using Models in ADE
ModLyng exported Verilog-A/AMS views can be utilized in all traditional cadence simulation tools, such as Analog Design Environment, easily integrating with your existing design flows.
